About Ate Rida Robes
Florida “Rida” Perez – Robes is the representative congresswoman of the lone legislative district of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, and serves the House of Representatives as its Chief of Political Affairs. She is the loving wife of three-term Congressman and current Mayor of San Jose del Monte City, Arturo “Arthur” B. Robes.

Life Before Public Service
Born in Bustos, Bulacan as the eldest child of Ricardo and Diosalinda Perez, Congw. Rida has shown a keen interest in academics and servitude from a young age. She graduated from St. Paul College of Manila with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, as well as from the American University with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, majoring in Public Personnel Management and Public Policy. She also took and completed an Executive Education for “Women and Power” course at Harvard University, and underwent various executive training programs such as “Strategies for Success” at the Dale Carnegie, International in Hong Kong and Dr. Edward De Bono’s “Creative Thinking” under the renowned mental expert Dr. Peter Low in Malaysia.
She is also a dynamic member of several socio-civic organizations such as the Congressional Spouses Foundation, Focus on Women Group, Gawad Kalinga, Council on Philippine Affairs (Region III), Rotaract Club of Timog, Morato Business Club, and Kabataang Barangay (Bustos Chapter), among others.

Robes
Arturo “Arthur” B. Robes is the loving husband of San Jose del Monte representative, Florida “Rida” Perez-Robes, and the current mayor of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. Like his wife, he has also served as the former Representative of the lone district of San Jose del Monte for three consecutive terms (2007-2016).

Life Before Public Service
In 1998, Mayor Arthur graduated from San Sebastian College Recoletos de Manila with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in Marketing. Science, language, and history were among one of his favorite subjects. After getting his first degree, he took a Management course at the Asian Institute of Management and the University of the Philippines, and an Executive course at the Development Academy of the Philippines.

Political Career on the Rise
A member of the Liberal Party (PDP-Laban), he was first elected as the representative of the lone San Jose del Monte district in 2007, where he served for three consecutive terms until 2016. During this time, he served as the head of various committees such as the Committee on Women and Gender Equality, and Social Services. It was a significant event that changed the entire course of his life, allowing him to explore the world and apply himself within it.
In the 2016 local elections, he ran for the position of Mayor in San Jose del Monte and successfully defeated the incumbent Reynaldo San Pedro. Since then, he has continued to serve his constituents in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, resulting in a striking reelection in 2019.
